Technical Recruiter Karman Industries is seeking a Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting across a mix of technical and business roles. The successful candidate will partner directly with hiring managers and leadership to define role scope, calibrate interview panels, and drive hiring decisions with data and sound judgment. This role requires broad ownership spanning intake through offer close, with real opportunity to help build scalable recruiting infrastructure as Karman scales from prototype to volume production. This role is on-site and does not have travel requirements. Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for a mix of technical and business roles: intake, sourcing, candidate experience, interview process, offer negotiation, and close
- Build the foundational recruiting infrastructure: repeatable intake processes, interview plans and scorecards, sourcing playbooks, and candidate communication templates
- Partner directly with hiring managers and leadership to define role scope, calibrate interview panels, and drive hiring decisions with data and judgment
- Own and continually improve Karman's use of Ashby, ensuring clean pipeline data and reliable hiring metrics and forecasts
- Ensure a high-quality, consistent candidate experience at every stage, at a time when candidate impressions of Karman are still being formed
- Build recruiting metrics and reporting and use that data to continuously inform and improve hiring process Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including technical, hardware engineering hiring
- Demonstrated ability to build or significantly improve recruiting process, not just execute an existing one
- Comfortable operating with a high degree of ambiguity and ownership, especially in a startup or fast-scaling environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills: confident advising and occasionally pushing back on hiring managers and leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment on both candidate quality and candidate experience Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting for engineering, technical, or manufacturing roles
- Deep familiarity with Ashby or a comparable modern ATS
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, hardware, or industrial company
