Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of backend services and web applications using Python and Django.
- Own technical design and architecture decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Translate requirements into well-structured modules, APIs, and reusable components aligned with coding standards.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices in Python/Django development.
- Drive engineering excellence by improving code quality, testability, and development workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan deliveries, manage dependencies, and resolve technical risks.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
- Ensure documentation of designs, APIs, and key technical decisions for long-term maintainability. Technical requirements

- Experience leading modules/teams, including sprint planning support, estimation, and technical ownership.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design patterns and integration practices in Django-based systems.
- Exposure to building scalable service architectures and improving system performance through profiling and optimization.
- Familiarity with automated testing practices and improving test coverage for Python/Django applications.
