## About the Role: As a Performance Specialist, you will operate close to the shopfloor and contribute to the sustainable improvement of equipment as well as process performance within a Production Unit. By driving Continuous Improvement, FOX, AM/PM and Smart Factory initiatives, you will identify performance opportunities, support the implementation of improvement measures and play a key role in strengthening operational excellence and long-term performance results. ## Main Responsibilities:
- Analyze equipment and process losses and identify improvement opportunities to increase Production Unit performance
- Support the preparation, facilitation, and follow-up of FOX workshops and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Implement and further develop Lean methodologies and Operational Excellence standards within the Production Unit (PU)
- Monitor and track action plans using the PDCA methodology to ensure effective and sustainable implementation
- Support the deployment and continuous development of Autonomous and Preventive Maintenance (AM/PM) practices
- Contribute to the analysis and improvement of key performance indicators, with a particular focus on OEE and OAE
- Support leaders and operational teams in fostering a culture of Continuous Improvement and the adoption of best practicesc
- Partner closely with the Production Unit to drive initiatives that improve the efficiency, stability, and productivity of manufacturing processes ## About You:
- University degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Systems Engineering or a comparable technical field
- First professional experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement or Lean Management
- Knowledge of Lean methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, SMED, or comparable approaches
- Interest in production systems, performance management and digitalization
- Strong analytical and structured approach combined with problem-solving skills
- High level of initiative, ownership and accountability
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
