The Security Risk & Governance manager will work under Astroscale Holding’s VP of Global IT & Security to reinforce our security function; the position is an integral part of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) of Astroscale Holdings Inc., the ultimate parent company of Astroscale Group. This position will contribute to building and expanding Global Information & Cyber Security Governance & oversight framework with a particular technical focus on the Cyber risk management function. The successful applicant will be contributing and coordinating implementation and operation of the governance framework across all entities. Areas of focus will include cyber security risk management, policies & standards. The post holder will coordinate cyber oversight cross entities activities, provide technical expertise on entity reporting and support the security oversight function at large. The role is result driven and aimed at a mid-level professional eager to take their career to the next level. Responsibilities

  • Lead communication and coordination across our global subsidiaries on various security matters including:
  • Software budget and procurement
  • Cyber security intelligence
  • Global Information Security Committee-related initiatives
  • Provide security expertise on:
  • various subsidiary reporting, such as audit, incident reports, etc.
  • strategic global security initiatives
  • cyber security governance
  • Support the Global IT & Security Team in other duties as required.
  • Closely work with respective subsidiaries’ IT & Security managers team to ensure IT and Security controls are synchronized. Essential Skills
  • 5 years of professional experience working in cyber security & IT risk related fields
  • Technical proficiency in security incident response, such as penetration testing, cloud security, IT systems, etc.
  • Knowledge of ISO27001 /NIST CSF or experience in operating an ISMS framework
  • Passion for cybersecurity, keeping up to date with the latest cyber threats, technologies and trends.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and team player. Communication and negotiation skills are vital.
  • Strong business-level written and verbal communication capabilities in English and Japanese.
  • Ability to read and comprehend regulatory documentations (both English and Japanese) and write internal documents.
  • Degree-level educated or similar experience, ideally within technical disciplines.
  • Project management experience. Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of enterprise level security concepts such as Zero Trust, Shift Left, In depth Security, etc.
  • Knowledge of best practice frameworks for proper and safe operation of corporate IT departments such as ITIL.
  • Cyber Security certifications such as CISSP, SSCP, or GIAC.
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP, etc
  • Experience working for the head office of a global organization. Position Details Entity: Astroscale Holdings Inc.
