Description

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement technical strategies for building services aligned with organizational goals.
  • Project Oversight: Manage end-to-end technical delivery of building services projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence.
  • Innovation & Sustainability: Drive adoption of cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices in building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, etc.).
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs and installations meet regulatory codes, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • Team Development: Mentor and lead technical teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout project lifecycles. Responsibilities
  • Strong expertise in building services engineering (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection).
  • Proven project team and Project management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of sustainability standards and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Mechanical design softwares (HAP, Hevacomp), IES and project management tools. Must be fully conversant with technical software, IES-Part L, H&C Load, TM52,59,54, SAP, Whole Life Carbon
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • The applicant should have adequate knowledge on various types of building projects. Desired Skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of BS, HTM, NBC, NFPA and other local codes and good working knowledge of UK codes would be advantageous. Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in building services, with at least 5 years in a leading major project delivery.
  • Chartered Engineering Status with the UK Engineering Council. BGV:
  • Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.
