About this Position The Staff Accountant I is an exempt professional role responsible for applying accounting principles and professional judgment to support accurate financial reporting and general ledger integrity. This position assists with month‑end close activities, account reconciliations, and financial analysis in accordance with GAAP and company policy. The Staff Accountant I exercises discretion in analyzing financial data, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions. The role works independently on assigned responsibilities while collaborating with management and cross‑functional partners. Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Prepare and post journal entries requiring analysis and professional judgment; participate in month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes; maintain assigned general ledger accounts; review balances for reasonableness and compliance with GAAP. Identify issues, investigate root causes, and escalate findings where appropriate.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations. Evaluate fluctuations and trends, develop explanations, and recommend adjustments as needed. Use judgment to resolve discrepancies and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of internal financial reports and supporting schedules. Analyze financial results and provide insights to management to support business decision‑making.
  • Support internal and external audit activities by preparing documentation, responding to requests, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls. Apply professional judgment when interpreting requirements and assessing compliance issues.
  • Complete monthly processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and controls. Collaborate with other business partners to resolve complex accounting matters.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis, support system enhancements, and contribute to special projects requiring analytical skills and independent judgment. FLSA status: This position is exempt (not eligible for overtime pay): Yes Our Benefits:
