This Position reports to: Accounting & Reporting Manager Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role, You will be working as Accounting and Reporting – SME and will be reporting to Accounting & Reporting Manager – Team Lead and will be a part of Bangalore Hub, India. In this role you will be primarily responsible for all the Accounting and Reporting related topic for a specific country/ Cluster and also our subject Matter expert focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of Accounting and reporting and also involved in training individuals and team of people on related accounting topics within the General Accounting (GA) team. Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external regulatory requirements The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role is contributing to the : Finance Business Function You will be mainly accountable for: · Monitor and managing the Accounting & Reporting activity of specific countries / cluster of countries and ensuring timely recording of all General accounting activities and transactions in

Cfin/ Erp.

· Work as subject matter expert for R2R matters and guide fellow team members to achieve timely and quality financial reporting · Coordinating with business, Inter-company, AP, AR teams on regular basis to clear quality checks related to Group and Management reporting. · Performing Balance sheet reconciliation and closing aged items within the SLA timelines. · Work as a first point of contact for country/business controllers and provide accounting/reporting support and guidance. · Strong hold of internal control framework. Ensure all Internal Controls are followed as per design. ·Standardize accounting process across all clusters withing your responsibility. · Implementation of newly developed program that helps accounting process across all clusters and participate in UAT activities wherever required. · Addressing audit queries [Internal & External] by providing necessary clarification/supporting documents · Initiating Quality improvement initiatives and Training to others on specific accounting and reporting related topics as and when required. Qualifications for the role (Mandatory) · Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce · Minimum10 to 12 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and processing of journal entries, it will be good if that person has a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in ABB and have good exposure and knowledge of ABB Way of Accounting and reporting. · Must have experience in Record to Report. · Must be flexible in working for any shift timings. · Good communication skills. · Working knowledge in MS office (SAP Knowledge is a must) More about us (Mandatory) ABB Finance is a trusted partner to the business and a world-class team who delivers forward-looking insights that drive sustainable long-term results and operates with the highest standards We look forward to receiving your application (documents submitted in English are appreciated).
