Your role You will take ownership of end-to-end material planning, ensuring alignment between supply plans, production needs, and supplier capabilities. Working at the intersection of operations, procurement, and logistics, you'll manage MRP processes, drive supplier collaboration, and use data-driven insights to proactively mitigate risks and secure material availability. You'll also play a key role in continuous improvement, optimising planning parameters and supporting cross-functional initiatives. Your tasks
- Leading end-to-end material planning activities, translating strategic and tactical supply plans into executable material schedules that optimise supplier capacity, lead times, and contractual frameworks.
- Owning MRP processes, ensuring accurate master data, consistent execution, and alignment with global standards, including PR-to-PO conversion, contract call-offs, and inbound flow coordination.
- Driving supplier collaboration and performance management, including confirmations, rescheduling, and delivery adherence to secure material availability and service levels.
- Proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating supply risks through advanced analytics, scenario modelling, and cross-functional coordination.
- Leading exception management, resolving shortages, late deliveries, and inventory imbalances while balancing cost and service outcomes.
- Optimising planning parameters (MOQ, safety stock, lead times) to improve forecast accuracy, reduce inventory waste, and enhance supply chain responsiveness.
- Providing advanced analytics and reporting, producing KPIs, insights, and actionable recommendations for business reviews and senior stakeholder discussions. Your profile
- At least 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, with strong expertise in material planning or supply planning within manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- Deep understanding of MRP processes, material flow, supplier scheduling, and inventory management principles.
- Proven track record of managing supply networks and delivering high service levels while optimising cost and inventory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in scenario modelling and data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in planning systems such as SAP, Blue Yonder, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, SQL, data warehouses, or system implementations is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of key planning parameters (MOQ, safety stock, lead times) and their impact on overall supply chain performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present insights and influence decisions at senior level.
- Flexibility to work late shifts (8AM–4PM and 4PM–12AM), approximately 2–3 times per week. What You'll love about working here
