STATUS: Per Diem LOCATION: 1415 Portland Ave MOB 4th Flr Suite 400 DEPARTMENT: The Women's Center at Portland SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 830a-5p, Rotating late Mondays 1030a-7p, possible floating SUMMARY As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you are key in the success of operations and compassionate patient care every day.   • Patient Care & Service. Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; perform various treatment procedures; provide physical, educational and emotional support to patients, friends and families; supervise assigned team members
  • Medication Administration & Reporting. Administer medication and give/receive relevant reports, both written and verbal from/to appropriate staff as per departmental protocols
  • Documentation. Ensure concise, pertinent and complete documentation using computerized medical record process
  • Preparation. Ensure clinical areas are properly supplied and exam rooms are available and stocked EDUCATION: AS: Nursing (Required) LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: BLS
  • Basic Life Support
  • American Heart Association (AHA), RN
  • Registered Nurse
  • NYS Office of Professions PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate

  • Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20–50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE: $26.52 - $32.64 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14621 The posted pay range is a good faith representation of potential base pay for this position. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates could vary based on position details and FTE. Pay is determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, locations, and contracts.
