Analyst, Materials Costing, Footwear & Equipment

Role & Responsibilities: Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position): As part of the Global Material Sourcing (GMS) Team , the costing analyst will manage all material costing related activities that services all Brands and product categories . The individual is responsible to manage and execute material cost benchmarking & support pricing negotiation to maximize “One VF” scale in leverage through analytics and brings a procurement mindset to the organization. The role has extensive focus to operationally connect with Brands, Sourcing, Suppliers, Finance, and Responsible Sourcing & Sustainability organizations. Frequent influential communication to external partners are required. Key Result Areas: · Manage seasonal costing for FTW & Equipment Materials through the go-to-market calendar to meet all milestones. · Strengthen the “One VF” model by using fact-based insights to support the material supply strategy. · Analyze and validate supplier cost breakdowns for underfoot components, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal benchmarks · Support cost negotiations by setting targets, applying fact-based methods, and driving outcomes in supplier discussions. · Partner cross-functionally providing insights to cost competitiveness in support of supplier selection and underfoot component choices supporting material/manufacturing strategies and Product Development objectives. · Maintain PLM material library costing functions and deliver benchmarking (commodity updates, savings tracking, and price-trend analysis..

• Support data analysts to build and maintain cost models leveraging Ai capabilities to identify cost-reduction opportunities through material consolidation, supplier leverage, and process improvements.
• Maintain centralized cost data for underfoot components, including supplier quotes and pricing history.
