Job Title: Production Merchandiser Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Full-time About the Role: We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Production Merchandiser to oversee the production lifecycle and ensure the timely execution of customer orders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vendors, monitoring production schedules, and coordinating with factories to achieve delivery timelines. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end production follow-up to ensure timely execution of orders.
- Coordinate with factories on daily production status, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Develop and maintain effective vendor relationships to support production needs.
- Plan and monitor factory capacities to balance workload and avoid delays.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sourcing, quality, design, logistics) to ensure smooth process flow.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective measures.
- Prepare and maintain reports on order status, production tracking, and vendor performance. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, or related discipline.
- 0.6–4 years of relevant experience in apparel/garment merchandising or production.
- Strong understanding of apparel production processes and vendor management.
- Good communication, desciplined, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and reporting tools.
