Description
- Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of department.
- Ensures that all direct reports follow lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety practices.
- Train and supervises Team Members on correct procedures to be used when making maintenance repairs.
- Monitor all production and plant utilities’ equipment efficiencies.
- Supervise, develop and train Team Members on best maintenance practices.
- Ensure daily preventative maintenance routing sheets are completed.
- And, any additional duties that may be assigned by Management. Requirements SKILLS,
Knowledge and
ABILITIES:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations as it pertains to plant operation and maintenance.
- Ability to understand and operate the systems and equipment used at the facility; and ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
- Ability to perform and analyze various system checks.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them appropriately; and prepare maintenance schedules.
- Ability to work on a team and cooperate with others; positive attitude.
- Ability to work without supervision; self-motivation and self-direction.
- Ability to pay close attention to details; good analytical problem-solving ability.
- Flexibility to work five days a week with mandatory coverage every other weekend
Experience and
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
- 3-5 years experience in lead or other related positions.
- Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
