Legal Counsel, Finland

You will be a trusted legal partner to the business, advising colleagues on a broad range of commercial and legal matters, negotiating agreements and turning complex legal questions into clear, practical solutions. • Act as a trusted legal adviser to business leaders and colleagues, and support the prevention and resolution of contractual issues and disputes.
• Draft, review and negotiate customer, supplier and other commercial agreements.
• Coordinate external legal advisors when specialist support is required.
• Develop and update legal policies, guidelines and contract templates.
• Identify legal and commercial risks early and help the business manage them effectively.
• Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments and translate them into clear business actions.
• Design and deliver engaging legal training.
• Collaborate across functions and countries to achieve business objectives with an appropriate level of legal risk. What will help you succeed
• Hold an LL.M. or equivalent university degree in law.
• Have approximately three to five years of relevant legal experience, gained in-house, at a law firm or through a combination of both.
• Are fluent in Finnish and English. Other languages, including Swedish being a plus.
• Enjoy understanding the business behind the legal question and taking ownership in an international environment.
• Have strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, sound judgment and the ability to explain complex matters clearly and provide pragmatic recommendations.
• Are curious about AI and how technology can support legal professionals.
• Experience in data privacy or intellectual property is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• International work or study experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.
