Summary About the Position: This position is located in Falls Church, VA. Duties

• Serve as a senior analyst for Headquarters Operations (HQ Ops), responsible for independently planning, executing, and evaluating complex administrative, business, and strategic communication programs that influence Directorate operations.
• Provide high-level analytical and advisory support to the HQ Ops Director and senior leaders on long-and short-term management programs, organization-wide initiatives, performance objectives, and operational readiness priorities.
• Conduct assessments of Directorate workflows, reference materials, internal controls, and business processes to identify systemic inefficiencies.
• Develop well-supported recommendations and decision options that improve organizational efficiency, operational integration, and strategic alignment.
• Lead cross-functional projects and Directorate-level initiatives designed to modernize internal processes, improve organizational effectiveness, and optimize recourse usage.
• Ensure all products meet Agency polices, communication standards, and senior leadership expectations.
• Advise the HQ Operations Board on strategic planning, operational governance, facility priorities, and workforce support decisions that impact HQs Ops functions.
• Oversee asset tracking, lifecycle analysis of Information Technology (IT) hardware and office equipment, and acquisition planning. Specialized Experience GS-0343-13 Management Analyst: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing workflows to optimize administrative operations, managing facility and property assets to streamline organizational logistics, leading cross-functional project teams to deliver data-driven decision options to executive leadership, and providing quality control for executive-level correspondence or staff packages. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
