Power BI, DAX

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end development of Power BI dashboards and reports, from requirement gathering to deployment and support.
• Design robust semantic models, star schemas, and optimized datasets aligned to business KPIs and reporting needs.
• Develop and optimize complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and time-intelligence logic for accurate analytics.
• Build and maintain efficient data transformations using Power Query and ensure high-quality, reliable datasets.
• Partner with business and data teams to define metrics, validate outputs, and deliver actionable insights.
• Establish best practices for report performance, usability, accessibility, and consistent visualization standards.
• Implement row-level security (RLS), workspace management, and governance practices for secure reporting.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and data issues; drive continuous optimization and automation where possible.
• Mentor developers/analysts, conduct reviews, and guide delivery planning to ensure quality and timely outcomes. Minimum Qualifications:
• BTECH, MTECH, MCA, or MSC.
• 6–8 years of experience in BI/analytics with strong hands-on expertise in Power BI and DAX.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, joins, aggregations, and performance-aware data extraction.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, relationships, measures vs. columns).
• Experience delivering production-grade dashboards with stakeholder-facing documentation and support. Technical requirements Technology->Cloud Platform->Power Platform->Power BI, DAX, SQL Additional responsibilities Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience leading BI initiatives, owning delivery plans, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong expertise in Power BI Service features including deployments, workspace strategy, and governance.
• Proven ability to optimize report performance (model size reduction, DAX optimization, query folding awareness).
• Experience implementing security and access controls including RLS and dataset permissions.
