Controller

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Controller based in Canada. As the first finance hire, you’ll have a broad mandate to establish and lead the company’s core finance function as the business scales. You’ll own financial reporting, accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across a growing international organization. The role combines hands-on accounting leadership with strategic financial planning and close partnership with operational and commercial teams. You’ll help translate hiring plans, customer deployments, pricing decisions, and spending into clear financial implications and recommendations. You’ll also oversee multi-entity accounting across the US, Canada, and UK, including consolidation, foreign currency, intercompany transactions, and revenue recognition. With significant ownership and autonomy, you’ll shape finance processes, systems, controls, and automation from the ground up.
