Job Summary
This position will be responsible for staffing multiple retail store locations on an as needed basis, engaging and assisting customers, managing local community and Blue Neighbor events in the region, and maintaining/activating grassroots partnerships to generate qualified leads for the retail stores, while working with their Region Manager to ensure operational consistency, Operations Manual adherence and inventory management across all assigned locations. This position requires a basic knowledge of Highmark products, systems, and resources used in retail stores, including a basic knowledge of any necessary Highmark or Highmark-owned ancillary products. This role is Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm and some Saturdays -- must be ok with OT and travel to North Hills, South Hills and Monroeville stores.
Essential Responsibilities
- Store Support:
- Float between assigned retail store locations, providing on-site staffing support for daily operations as needed.
- Interacting with a diverse customer base and providing the highest level of customer care and service
- Ensure consistent execution of sales processes and brand standards across all locations.
- Manage and replenish store sales materials and marketing collateral inventory.
- Identify and address operational inefficiencies and provide solutions.
- Assist with in-store visual merchandising and store displays.
- Provide administrative support to field sales representatives as needed.
- Participate in store opening and closing procedures as required.
- Make recommendations to leadership regarding annual updates to the Operations Manual to ensure consistency/adherence.
- Community Engagement & Lead Generation:
- Identify and develop relationships with grassroots community organizations and businesses per Store Manager direction.
- Plan and execute presence at Highmark community events to drive qualified leads to the retail stores.
- Manage event logistics, including scheduling, management and coordination.
- Track and report on event effectiveness and ROI.
- Collaborate with Blue Neighbors Team to activate proprietary BN events in stores
- Other duties as assigned or requested. EXPERIENCE Required
- 1 year of experience in any retail store setting Preferred
- 1 year of experience in the health insurance industry
- 1 year of experience in reception/conceirge/administrative experience in any field SKILLS
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, up to 40-50 hours per week as needed EDUCATION Required
- High School/GED Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration LICENSES or CERTIFICATIONS Required
