Job Introduction The Site Reliability Engineer I (SRE I) is an entry-level professional role responsible for supporting the availability, performance, and reliability of Tekion’s production systems. This role assists in monitoring, incident response, automation, and system improvements under the guidance of more senior engineers. The

contributes to operational excellence by helping maintain scalable infrastructure and learning best practices in reliability engineering. Key Role & Responsibilities

• Monitor production systems, respond to alerts, and assist in troubleshooting issues under supervision.
• Support incident response processes, including documenting issues and contributing to post-mortem analysis.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Learn and apply best practices in infrastructure management, system reliability, and observability.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to ensure system stability and compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotations with supervision and guidance.
• Document processes, playbooks, and lessons learned to contribute to team knowledge.Continuously build technical skills in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and monitoring tools. Basic Qualifications
• 2–4 years of experience in system administration, DevOps, or entry-level SRE roles (internships or equivalent experience acceptable).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and monitoring tools.
• Basic scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
• Understanding of networking, system performance, and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). Perks & Benefits
