- Opportunities for training and career advancement We're looking for a Residential Electrical Service Technician who is dedicated to meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations as they are to mentoring others and staying sharp on New Jersey’s electrical codes. Your Day-to-Day:
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, service calls, and safety checks with efficiency and precision.
- Establish strong customer rapport and clearly explain repairs or installations.
- Ensure each job is code-compliant, clean, and completed to our top-tier workmanship standards.
- Mentor apprentices and be a go-to resource in the field.
- Collaborate with the Electrical Manager, warehouse, dispatch, and customer service for seamless job execution.
- Maintain clean job sites, a well-stocked truck, and thorough documentation. What You Bring:
- Electrician with strong knowledge of NJ residential codes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service instincts and a professional demeanor
- Ability to follow direction and work both independently and on team installations
- Takes initiative, meets deadlines, and always looking to learn and grow
- Pride in craftsmanship and a commitment to safety and excellence
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined or elevated spaces
