Sr NPI Engineer (Switchboard)

This position reports to: Product Engineering Manager __ Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget. The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSite This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Juarez, Nuevo Leon. You will be mainly accountable for:

• Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.
• Approving the design for processes developed internally or externally and performing final tests with respect to the project.
• Providing support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.
• Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices. Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
• Bachelors Degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronic, industrial or similar engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in these fields, working as an NPI Engineer, Product Engineer, or Manufacturing Engineer with switchboards.
• You are immersed in and highly skilled in New Product Introduction (NPI), Project Management, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), APQP, Change Management, Cost Reduction Initiatives, and Manufacturing Processes, and enjoy working within the electrical equipment and power distribution industry market.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of Windchill PLM, SAP, AutoCAD, Creo, Microsoft Project, and engineering change management systems.
• You are passionate about continuous improvement, problem-solving, customer satisfaction, teamwork, and driving innovation through collaboration across multiple functions.
• Ability to travel as required. Valid passport and eligibility to work in Mexico. Valid U.S. visa preferred.
