About the Opportunity A fast-scaling tech product company in the SaaS & Enterprise Web Applications sector, we build scalable, secure, and feature-rich web platforms for global clients and internal products. Our engineering teams operate with autonomy, shipping high-impact features on Laravel-based architectures while mentoring junior engineers and driving code quality, DevOps hygiene, and performance at scale. Role & Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional Laravel squad—define sprint goals, assign tasks, and ensure on-time delivery of features and bug fixes.
- Architect and review Laravel applications: enforce SOLID principles, modular design, and performance optimization across APIs and web interfaces.
- Own code quality: implement CI/CD pipelines, enforce PSR standards, conduct peer reviews, and maintain automated test coverage (PHPUnit, Pest).
- Collaborate with DevOps to containerize apps (Docker), deploy to cloud (AWS/GCP), and monitor performance with tools like New Relic or Sentry.
- Mentor and upskill junior developers—conduct tech sessions, pair programming, and career growth planning.
- Partner with Product and QA to translate requirements into technical specs, estimate timelines, and prioritize tech debt reduction. Skills & Qualifications
