Video & Motion Designer

Lessen, LLC is a venture-backed, privately held company with offices in Scottsdale and Chicago. Lessen is looking for a Video & Motion Designer to join our Brand team within Marketing. This is a hands-on creative role for someone who can take a story from idea to finished piece—concepting, scripting, storyboarding, editing, animating, and delivering polished video content across a wide range of formats. You’ll create everything from brand films and campaign creative to product demos, customer stories, social video, promotional content, commercials, event content, and product launches. Some projects will be heavily driven by motion graphics and kinetic typography. Others will combine product UI, live action, photography, stock footage, interviews, and AI-generated video. Because Lessen is not just a property maintenance company, but also a technology company , a major part of the role will also be making software feel clear, compelling, and visually engaging. You should be comfortable working directly in Figma, extracting and adapting product assets, rebuilding screens when necessary, and turning static interfaces into polished motion and product storytelling. This is not a role where you’ll simply receive a finished script and a folder of perfectly prepared assets. We’re looking for someone who is curious, resourceful, visually strong, and comfortable helping shape the story.
