LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a

Logistics Management Specialist

in the Commander Navy Installation Command (CNIC) of

Navsta Mayport.

Duties

• You will plan, coordinate, and evaluate the logistical actions in support of the Fuels mission.
• You will determine all activities involved in providing logistical support to include planning and scheduling while adjusting to scheduling delays and other logistical challenges.
• You will operate standard office equipment and maintain files in a neat and accessible manner to include field inventory management. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Processing all fuel inventory documents to include sales and transfers within the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) dedicated Fuels Management Defense (FMD) software and retains auditable documents per DLA's strict policies; 2) Determining manpower requirements needed to meet daily operational plans while communicating with appropriate terminal personnel on a daily basis to improve information flow and team work; 3) Maintaining fuels accounting records, overseeing the processing of all issue, receipts and transfers of petroleum products. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree OR Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
