Role Summary Must have a minimum of 2-5 years experience in teaching English and a minimum of 2 years of total work experience in a full-time role in a relevant field. Researching and content exploring skills to collect and maintain all the good quality, free to use content sources available for State Board curriculums. Possess good grip on MS Office / Google suite as this work will majorly happen in Excel and Word Files, one needs to be very comfortable operating these with attention to minute details. Be adept with developing assessments as and when required 3. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables 3.1. Assessment Creation
  • Develop question banks, worksheets, quizzes, chapter tests and practice papers aligned to State Board curricula and learning outcomes.
  • Create varied question types (MCQs, fill-in-the-blanks, assertion-reason, statement analysis, comprehension, grammar and vocabulary, reference-to-context, writing tasks) with answer keys, explanations and grade-wise difficulty levels.
  • Apply sound pedagogy (Bloom's taxonomy, age-appropriate scaffolding) to all assessments.
  • Quality-check for accuracy, language and alignment before handover, and revise on QC feedback.
  • Tag and structure assessments for iPrep PAL and digital teams, and use learner performance data and feedback to refine content. 3.2. Curriculum & OER Curation
  • Build deep knowledge of English syllabi across State Boards, including grade-wise reading, writing, grammar and literature expectations, and alignment with NEP 2020 / NCF.
  • Know the existing content library across boards, grades and regional language requirements.
  • Track curriculum updates across State Boards and monitor government, partner and other credible sources for new resources.
  • Source, verify and maintain credible, free-to-use OER, checking licences (CC-BY, CC-BY-SA, public domain) and citing sources properly.
  • Identify and fix alignment gaps and language, grammar and factual errors.
  • Update, add and replace content in State Board master sheets, then finalise it for delivery across all platforms. 3.3. Quality, Originality & Inclusivity
  • Ensure all content is original and plagiarism-free, and respects copyright.
  • Review content for cultural sensitivity, gender neutrality and inclusivity.
  • Make content accessible and readable for differently-abled learners.
  • Bring literature expertise (prose, poetry, drama, literary analysis) to content and assessments. 3.4. Collaboration & Ways of Working
  • Work with Team Leads and curriculum, QC, design and product teams, and give timely feedback to close issues within timelines.
  • Maintain trackers and status reports for Team Leads and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior content creators and reviewers where needed. 4. Qualifications & Experience Education: Masters or Bachelors degree in English Experience: 2-5 years of experience in education domain (teaching experience with product use case/edtech domain) 5. Key Skills & Competencies
  • Good knowledge regarding English for classes K-12 of CBSE
  • Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets
  • Proficient in Hindi and English (Read, Write and Speak)
  • Good understanding of MS office / Google-suite
  • Excellent research skills and have an eye for detail
  • Sharpness in understanding assignments and proactively handle responsibilities
