QC Inspector

Working closely with the Quality Assurance and Compliance teams, the Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products, packaging, and components meet Twelve’s quality, safety, and client requirements. Reporting to the QA Manager and Senior Technical Manager, this role conducts objective inspections throughout the production process, identifies quality issues, and works directly with factories to drive timely corrective action. Product quality is a top priority at Twelve, and the QC Inspector plays a critical role in protecting our clients, our products, and our reputation. Key Responsibilities: Quality Control Inspections

• Conduct objective inspections of finished products, packaging, components, and materials against approved quality standards.
• Confirm that all required production and quality standards have been met before products are approved to leave the factory.
• Perform final random inspections in accordance with Twelve’s internal Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) standards or the client’s confirmed inspection requirements.
• Conduct in-line inspections on randomly selected items during production, as required.
• Perform in-house testing, including product measurements, functionality checks, drop testing, and other applicable quality assessments.
• Compare inspected products against approved client specifications, intellectual property documentation, range boards, samples, and other authorized reference materials.
• Identify, document, and reject products or materials that do not meet the required quality, safety, or performance standards.
• Proactively inspect other Twelve products, components, panels, or range boards in production while onsite at a factory and escalate any potential concerns. Reporting and Documentation
• Complete accurate and detailed QC inspection reports and all client-required documentation.
• Clearly record inspection results, defects, measurements, test outcomes, and the overall reason for any failed inspection using Twelve’s standardized reporting categories.
• Label inspection photographs in English and upload all supporting documentation to the correct product file in SharePoint.
• Submit completed reports and documentation promptly to the QA Administrator and relevant QA and Compliance team members.
• Immediately escalate any critical, recurring, or potentially safety-related quality concerns. Issue Resolution and Factory Follow-Up
• Work directly with factories to resolve quality issues quickly and effectively.
• For any failed inspection, obtain factory feedback and a proposed corrective action plan on the same day.
• Follow up consistently and drive the issue toward resolution within 48 hours wherever possible.
• Verify that corrective actions have been completed and that affected products meet the required standards before approval.
• Identify recurring quality issues and share observations with the QA and Compliance teams to support continuous improvement. Communication and Collaboration
• Partner closely with the QA and Compliance teams to communicate inspection results, risks, and recommended next steps.
• Maintain clear, professional, and objective communication with factories and internal stakeholders.
• Raise concerns early when quality, safety, production timing, or client expectations may be at risk.
• Provide timely updates until all outstanding quality issues have been resolved. Qualifications and Skills
• Previous experience in quality control, product inspection, manufacturing, or a related environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify product defects, inconsistencies, and potential safety concerns.
• Working knowledge of inspection procedures, product specifications, and AQL standards is preferred.
• Strong documentation, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to make objective quality decisions and confidently reject products that do not meet required standards.
• Comfortable working directly with factories and pushing for timely corrective action.
• Able to manage multiple inspections and priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
• Written and spoken English proficiency is required for inspection reports, photograph labeling, and communication with internal teams.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SharePoint is preferred.
