Position Summary: The IT/OT Network Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving network infrastructure across corporate IT and Operational Technology environments. This position serves as a technical liaison between operations, engineering teams, vendors, and Corporate IT to ensure secure, reliable, and well-governed connectivity for business systems, facility networks, OT/IoT/IIoT devices, and related technology platforms. The role requires strong technical troubleshooting capabilities, an understanding of industrial and operational network environments, and the ability to support both day-to-day operations and project-based deployments while maintaining compliance with organizational standards and cybersecurity requirements. Travel Requirement: Up to 30%, including travel to other cities or states as business needs require. Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Technology Support:
- Provide technical network support for OT, IoT, and IIoT systems used within operational environments.
- Partner with plant engineers, operators, and maintenance personnel to ensure technology solutions support operational continuity and safety requirements.
- Assist with troubleshooting connectivity issues related to industrial systems, equipment networks, monitoring platforms, and vendor-managed solutions.
- Support segmentation, secure communications, and access control practices between corporate and OT environments.
- IT/OT Project and Deployment Support:
- Assist with the implementation of new hardware, software, network, and infrastructure solutions across assigned facilities.
- Participate in IT and OT projects, including upgrades, migrations, integrations, network refreshes, and technology standardization initiatives.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to validate technical requirements, installation readiness, and post-deployment support needs.
- Track assigned tasks, communicate risks or issues, and provide timely updates to Corporate IT leadership.
- End-User and Facility Technology Support:
- Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, telephony, conference room technology, and other facility IT assets as needed.
- Respond to service requests and incidents in accordance with established support procedures and service expectations.
- Escalate issues appropriately and collaborate with Corporate IT teams to ensure timely resolution. Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, Cybersecurity, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- Minimum of three years of experience in network administration, infrastructure support, desktop support, or IT/OT operational environments.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, wireless networking, firewalls, and network troubleshooting methodologies.
- Experience supporting industrial, plant, manufacturing, utilities, energy, or similar operational environments is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and support time-sensitive operational issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to travel up to 30% and provide onsite support at assigned facilities as required. Preferred Certifications and Technical Experience:
- CompTIA Network+, Security+, GIAC, or equivalent network/security certification.
- Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto Networks, or comparable network infrastructure certification.
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or similar endpoint, identity, or infrastructure certification.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar enterprise network and security platforms.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud networking concepts is preferred but not required.
- Experience with analog telephony, VoIP systems, or unified communications support is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial control systems, OT cybersecurity practices, network segmentation, and secure remote access models is preferred. Core Competencies:
