Extrusion Sheet-line Operations – 1st Shift

The hours for this position are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Friday. Extrusion Sheet-line Operations duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: · Maintain a running sheet extrusion line with respect to quality, safety and product specification · Maintain accurate records of extrusion process parameters through the duration of the shift · Learn to set-up, start and troubleshoot all specialty product extrusion lines · Ensure handover of process information from the production run to next shift’s lead operator · Follow company standards for safety and PPE, and comply with ISO and OSHA standards · Complete relevant training provided by the company · Maintain a good working relationship with other departments Requirements Extrusion Sheet-line Operations duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: · Maintain a running sheet extrusion line with respect to quality, safety and product specification · Maintain accurate records of extrusion process parameters through the duration of the shift · Learn to set-up, start and troubleshoot all specialty product extrusion lines · Ensure handover of process information from the production run to next shift’s lead operator · Follow company standards for safety and PPE, and comply with ISO and OSHA standards · Complete relevant training provided by the company · Maintain a good working relationship with other departments Extrusion Sheet-line Operations job requirement: · Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools · Must be aware of surroundings at all times · Must be able to think on their feet, make decisions and solve problems with little or no supervision · Must have working knowledge of electricity, plumbing and pneumatics · Must be prompt and reliable · Must be able to work overtime as needed based on production requirements · High School Diploma or equivalent · Valid Driver’s License, forklift experience preferred
