Location: India (IND) Work Mode: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 3–5 Years Job Summary We are looking for a Data Scientist with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to work on data science projects with a strong focus on forecasting and predictive modeling . The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in Python , software development best practices, and building reliable and maintainable data science solutions. Experience with Azure-based data and machine learning platforms will be an added advantage. 1. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data science solutions with a focus on forecasting use cases .
- Analyze datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights relevant to business requirements.
- Build, evaluate, and improve forecasting and predictive models .
- Prepare and transform data required for model development and analysis.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure developed solutions are reliable, maintainable, and suitable for deployment.
- Monitor model performance and support continuous improvement of existing forecasting solutions.
- Document models, methodologies, assumptions, and project outcomes. 2. Must-Have Skills
- 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in Data Science.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python for data science and model development.
- Hands-on experience with forecasting and predictive modeling techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Modularization.
- Hands-on experience with Git and Version Control practices.
- Hands-on experience with Unit Testing.
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and software development practices.
- Good level of written and spoken English . 3. Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Azure Databricks .
- Experience with Azure Machine Learning , particularly Jobs and Pipelines .
- Knowledge of YAML configurations .
- Hands-on experience with PySpark .
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar task management tools .
