We offer strong long-term career opportunities, excellent benefits, and a positive, team-oriented work environment Position Summary The QA/QC Project Specialist is responsible for assigned field quality activities, including inspections, completing quality records, deficiency tracking, testing, start-up, commissioning, turnover, and customer readiness on assigned commercial mechanical projects. The role provides factual, timely information that helps field and project teams prevent repeat issues and close work completely. This position reports to the QA/QC Commissiong Manager. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine and milestone inspections of HVAC, plumbing, piping, equipment, supports, penetrations, labeling, access, cleanliness, protection, and installation readiness.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, coordination information, manufacturer instructions, and project quality plans before inspection.
• Document findings with clear descriptions, photographs, locations, responsible parties, priority, due dates, and objective closure evidence.
• Maintain deficiency logs, test records, checklists, equipment lists, turnover trackers, dashboards, and organized project quality files.
• Witness or verify approved pressure tests, flushing, cleaning, equipment checks, prefunctional testing, start-up readiness, and closeout activities.
• Coordinate corrective action with Foremen, Superintendents, Project Managers, BIM, controls, start-up, vendors, TAB, and commissioning teams.
• Analyze recurring findings, incomplete work, documentation gaps, and milestone risk and communicate practical recommendations promptly.
• Support quality orientations, toolbox talks, mockups, first-work reviews, lessons learned, and assist training for project and craft employees.
• Escalate serious, repeated, concealed, code, safety, or customer-impacting quality concerns through the project quality chain.
• Participate in the DynaTen Quality Academy and complete applicable role-based training, field demonstrations, and qualification requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
• At least 3 years of commercial mechanical construction, QA/QC, inspection, start-up, commissioning, field coordination, or closely related experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, supports, equipment installation, testing, and commercial construction documents.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, submittals, codes, manufacturer information, and inspection requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile inspection, photo, digital-planning, document-management, and reporting tools.
• Strong observation, accuracy, organization, written communication, follow-through, and professional field-relationship skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel among assigned jobsites. Preferred Qualifications
• Associate or bachelor's degree in construction, engineering technology, quality, or a related field.
• Journeyman-level mechanical trade experience or OSHA 30-hour Construction credential.
• ASQ, ICC, CxA, LEED, TAB, welding-inspection, medical-gas, or other relevant credential.
• Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Power BI, digital commissioning, or quality platforms.
• Healthcare, data center, laboratory, industrial, or mission-critical project experience. What you can expect

• Stable work . Working Conditions Must have the ability to perform the duties above in a non-controlled environment. This will include climbing ladders, working on ladders and elevated surfaces, maintain in good working conditions, tools, materials, and equipment required to your work area.
