• Competitive base pay range of $33.78 to $49.16, based on years of experience.
• Opportunity to provide respiratory care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. About this role Join Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro as a Respiratory Therapist and help patients breathe easier through skilled, compassionate care. In this role, you will assess cardiopulmonary status, develop and carry out respiratory care plans, support outpatient needs, educate patients and families, and work closely with the care team to promote healing and optimal health. Your work supports our mission of empathy amplified by delivering safe, patient-centered care. Key responsibilities
• Assess the patient’s cardiopulmonary status and develop, revise, implement, and evaluate a respiratory care plan.
• Use established practice guidelines, protocols, and clinical judgment to support the best patient outcomes.
• Identify and address the special needs of patients in outpatient settings.
• Practice in accordance with Respiratory Care department competency-based standards.
• Assist patients, family members, and other health care providers with outpatient care through education, training, and equipment referrals.
• Provide education and professional expertise to patients, families, the health care team, and the community.
• Personally interact with, engage with, and care for patients.
• Ensure patient safety. What you will need
• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• No experience required
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care required.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Wisconsin required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within two years of hire date required.
• Current CPR certification required through American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or approved equivalent.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills. What we offer
