Description CIRI is hiring two Case Managers – TPS Services to join a new program supporting individuals and families who have lost Temporary Protected Status (TPS). This is a temporary position through 6/30/27 with possibility of extension. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who enjoys helping people navigate complicated systems, connect with resources, and find practical solutions to the challenges they are facing. Case Managers will work directly with individuals and families to identify their needs, develop a plan, connect them with services, and provide ongoing support as they work toward greater stability and self-sufficiency. Based in our Bridgeport office, the Case Managers will be part of a team that works closely with CIRI’s legal services and other programs to provide coordinated support to clients. What You’ll Do In this role, you will:

  • Meet with clients to learn about their individual and family needs, strengths, barriers, and priorities.
  • Develop individualized service plans and provide ongoing case management, follow-up, advocacy, and support.
  • Help clients access resources including healthcare, education, employment, housing, transportation, public benefits, and other basic needs.
  • Connect clients with CIRI programs, community organizations, government agencies, and other service providers.
  • Help clients understand and navigate systems that can sometimes be complicated or overwhelming.
  • Follow up with clients and service providers to make sure referrals are moving forward and needs are being addressed.
  • Work closely with CIRI staff and community partners to coordinate services and resources.
  • Meet with clients in the Bridgeport office and at community and service locations as needed.
  • Participate in outreach activities and community events to connect individuals and families with available services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case notes, service plans, referrals, documentation, and program data.
  • Provide transportation to clients when necessary and appropriate to help them access essential services.
  • Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and a client-centered approach in all aspects of the work. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for people who are compassionate, organized, resourceful, and comfortable working directly with clients who may be navigating significant changes and challenges. Qualified candidates will have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, sociology, public health, international studies, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • At least two years of experience in case management, human services, another client-facing role, or demonstrated experience working with immigrant, vulnerable, or underserved populations.
  • Experience working with immigrant communities strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build respectful, collaborative relationships with clients, coworkers, community partners, and service providers.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office and learning client databases and other technology platforms.
  • A valid U.S. driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • The ability and willingness to travel within Connecticut.
  • The flexibility to occasionally work outside regular business hours based on client or program needs. Fluency in French, Spanish, or Haitian Creole is a plus. About the Work Salary: $44,000 Annual CIRI offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance; paid time off and holidays; retirement benefits; employer-paid long-term disability; and additional voluntary benefits, including identity theft protection. Benefits vary based on eligibility and are subject to the terms of the applicable benefit plans. These positions are based in Bridgeport, CT and include travel to other Connecticut communities to meet with clients, connect with community partners, and provide services. Approved work-related mileage is reimbursed in accordance with CIRI policy. This work is about more than making referrals.
