As Product Analyst in the
Mdm IT
team, you will be the functional and technical bridge between business stakeholders, data governance teams, and IT delivery — supporting and enhancing the master data technology landscape built on SAP (ECC and S/4HANA), Orsoft, and Tibco. You will own the analysis, design, and delivery follow-through of enhancements and projects that keep master data flowing reliably across Danone’s global application landscape, while contributing to the strategic migration journey from
Sap Ecc
to S/4HANA Responsibilities Solution Support & Enhancements
- Act as functional analyst for the MDM platform stack: SAP (ECC / S/4HANA master data objects), Orsoft (master data system of entry), and Tibco (enrichment layer).
- Analyse, specify, and prioritise enhancement requests from global and regional business teams; translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Support incident and problem management for master data flows (L2/L3 coordination), performing root-cause analysis across systems of entry, systems of record, and downstream consumers.
- Maintain and improve interface mappings, data distribution rules, and integration patterns between SAP, Orsoft, Tibco, and connected applications. Project Delivery
- Contribute to global MDM and data transformation projects, including S/4HANA migration workstreams, platform consolidation initiatives, and data quality programs.
- Participate in design workshops, fit-gap analysis, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, and hypercare for master data scope.
- Coordinate with external partners and internal development teams to ensure on-time, on-quality delivery of changes. Data Quality & Governance
- Partner with Data Governance and Data Quality teams to implement DQ rules, validations, and monitoring in the master data creation and distribution processes.
- Support data owners and data stewards across business functions (Finance, Marketing, R&I, Supply Chain) with system expertise and impact analysis.
- Contribute to documentation of data lineage, attribute catalogs, and target data models. Stakeholder Management & Continuous Improvement
- Build trusted relationships with business process owners, CDO/data office stakeholders, and regional IT teams across geographies.
- Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and standardisation of master data operations.
- Stay current on SAP MDG, S/4HANA master data capabilities, and integration technologies; bring recommendations into the platform roadmap. Technical requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in IT functional analysis, application support, or solution delivery in an enterprise environment.[AR1.1][RN1.2][AR1.3][RP1.4]
- Hands-on experience with SAP master data (material/product, customer, vendor/supplier domains) in ECC and/or S/4HANA — including core tables, transactions, and data structures.
- Experience with integration/middleware technologies, ideally Tibco (or equivalent: SAP PI/PO, MuleSoft, Boomi), including message flows, mappings, and error handling[RN2.1][RN2.2].
- Strong analytical skills: ability to trace data issues end-to-end across multiple systems and articulate root causes and remediation options.
- Experience writing functional specifications, test scenarios, and supporting UAT with business users.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural, matrixed organisation.
- Experience with Orsoft or comparable master data entry/workflow tools.
- Exposure to Syniti, EBX, or other MDM/data governance platforms.
- Familiarity with S/4HANA migration programs (brownfield/greenfield/selective) and the master data implications of each.
- Knowledge of data quality tooling and analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks, SQL-based DQ monitoring).
- Experience in FMCG / CPG industry and understanding of product, customer, and supply chain master data in that context.
- Working knowledge of agile and hybrid delivery methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and ITSM processes (ITIL). Additional responsibilities
- Influence over control: thrives in a matrix organisation, achieving outcomes through collaboration rather than hierarchy.
- Curiosity and ownership: digs into the “why” behind data issues and follows through to resolution.
- Clear communicator: able to make complex data and integration topics tangible for non-technical audiences.
- Team player: works “one team” across IT, data office, and business functions, across time zones and cultures Education Bachelor of Engineering
