About Bayswater Education Bayswater Education was established in 2017 by a team of experienced professionals in the international education industry. The business is for profit, with a social mission at its core. Our one-for-one commitment means that for every week of tuition a student studies with us, we provide a week of education to underprivileged people in the markets from which our students are recruited. We aim to inspire and educate the next generation through a global network of colleges, initially focused on English and French language courses for international students. Our offer also includes career-focused short courses, as well as summer and year-round group programmes. Key Responsibilities The Education Advisor is responsible for managing prospective student enquiries and supporting sales activity in different markets. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence communicating by phone, and a courteous, professional approach when representing Bayswater Education.

  • Respond to sales enquiries received by phone, email, the website and marketing channels, including social media, Google Ads and online directories.
  • Advise prospective students on suitable courses, study destinations and the enrolment process, and support them throughout the sales journey.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company CRM, including enquiry details, follow-up notes, activities, tasks and sales outcomes.
  • Follow up promptly with prospective students, manage a varied pipeline and work towards agreed sales and conversion targets.
  • Deliver consistently excellent customer service to students and partners, communicating in a courteous, clear and professional manner.
  • Follow internal processes and procedures, resolve routine issues efficiently and escalate matters when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Direct Sales, Admissions, Marketing and the schools to ensure a smooth student experience. Requirements: Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and French.
  • Previous sales experience, ideally in the education, study-abroad, travel or services sector.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence handling sales conversations by phone.
  • Experience working with international customers or in a multicultural environment; overseas study or work experience is an advantage.
  • Good organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and follow-ups accurately.
  • Comfortable working towards targets, managing competing priorities and performing under pressure.
  • Confident using CRM systems and digital communication tools; experience with a CRM is an advantage.
  • A degree in business, marketing, sales, languages, tourism or a related field is desirable.
  • Additional language skills (e.g., Arabic, Spanish or another language) are desirable.
  • Customer service experience is desirable. Personal Attributes
