- Performs polysomnography procedures according to physician orders, department policies, and patient care plans while adapting testing procedures and equipment to obtain quality diagnostic data.
- Conducts thorough patient assessments, addresses special medical conditions, and takes appropriate action to support safe, patient-centered care.
- Maintains accurate billing, documentation, confidentiality, and reliability standards while responsibly using hospital equipment, supplies, and resources.
- Educates and supports patients and families by modifying teaching strategies to meet individual needs, including vision, hearing, or cognitive limitations.
- Participates in department meetings, continuing education, and performance improvement initiatives to maintain clinical excellence and compliance. Education:
- High School Grad or Equiv Required Work Experience:
- 1+ experience as a sleep tech Required
- Basic Life Support
- CPR Cert (BLS) Preferred Licenses and Certifications:
