Sr. Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)1 Key Responsibilities

  • Integration Architecture & Strategy: Architect, design, and implement end-to-end integration patterns (real-time, batch, event-driven, pub/sub) using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Gen2/Gen3.
  • Enterprise Connectivity: Configure and maintain OIC adapters (REST, SOAP, Oracle ERP Cloud, Database, FTP, Sales Cloud) to integrate Oracle Fusion SaaS, Oracle EBS, and non-Oracle third-party systems.
  • Process Automation & Extensions: Build and optimize process flows using Oracle Process Cloud Service (PCS) and extend web/mobile applications using Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
  • Performance & Data Operations: Manage heavy data bulk-loading patterns using File-Based Data Import (FBDI), B2B trading partner integrations, and BI Publisher/OTBI data extraction.
  • Governance & Error Handling: Establish integration standards, error-handling frameworks, replay capabilities, and monitoring dashboards across all OIC instances.
  • Support & Leadership: Serve as Tier-3 technical escalation for complex production issues, perform root-cause analyses, and mentor junior integration engineers. Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: 8+ years in middleware and enterprise integration, with at least 5+ years dedicated hands-on experience as an Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) specialist/lead.
  • Technical Depth: Deep proficiency with OIC (Gen2/Gen3), REST/SOAP Web Services, JSON, XML, XSLT, WSDL, and OAuth2 security protocols.
  • Oracle Ecosystem: Expertise integrating Oracle Cloud SaaS (ERP, HCM, SCM) and Oracle EBS R12 using native adapters, web services, and database tools (PL/SQL, SQL).
  • Tooling & Platform: Strong background in Oracle PaaS services, including VBCS, PCS, Oracle Autonomous Database, and Oracle API Gateway.
  • Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Oracle Integration Cloud Specialist Certification (strongly preferred). Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience migrating legacy middleware (Oracle SOA Suite, OSB, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft) to Oracle Integration Cloud.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation for OIC deployment.
