Position Title: Instructor of Urban Planning Compensation: $1,500 - $9,000 Department: Urban Planning

• Temp Start Date: 01/03/2027 About this opportunity: The Department of Urban Planning seeks part-time professionals to teach several urban planning courses during spring semester. This is not a full-time position. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. What you'll do and what you'll bring: Position Description: These part-time adjunct instructors will teach either one course to undergraduate and graduate students in the Department of Urban Planning or teach or co-teach a studio class. Duties and responsibilities will include providing timely feedback and midterm grades to students. Minimum Qualifications: The candidate must hold a a master's degree in urban planning or a closely aligned field or a bachelor's degree with at least four years' experience working in the planning field. Two part-time positions require some experience with studio classes, whether as a student or a faculty member. Preferred Qualifications: Preferably a PhD or a master's with experience working as a professional planner.
