Job Description: Department Overview Our department is responsible for driving business growth and creating customer touchpoints through physical channels, with the operation of Rakuten Mobile shops at its core. Our shops are not merely places for signing contracts; they serve as a "frontline of customer engagement" that provides a cross-sectional offering of Rakuten Group services, including telecommunications, finance, and e-commerce. They play a vital role in enhancing brand experience and expanding customer value. This position is an operational support role that sustains our nationwide store network. You will go beyond simple administrative support, playing a key role in assisting management decision-making and maximizing the department's overall performance. Position: Why We Hire With the expansion of the Rakuten Mobile shop business, we need to strengthen our sales support structure to sustain our nationwide store network. We require accurate and swift support from headquarters to ensure that our stores can operate smoothly. We are looking for someone who can improve the productivity of the entire sales organization and facilitate smooth store operations through tasks such as onboarding new employees, supporting management, aggregating data for reporting, and responding to store inquiries. Position Details This position supports the operational foundation of the Rakuten Mobile shop sales organization. You will be responsible for new employee onboarding, sales management support, aggregation and analysis of various KPI data, and store support operations, while promoting environmental improvements and operational efficiency to help stores achieve results effectively. ・Onboarding of new employees, handling various procedures, and managing accounts/access rights for operational systems. ・Management support, including scheduling for managers, meeting facilitation, and task management. ・KPI aggregation/analysis, budget vs. actual (B/A) management, and creation of reports/materials for sales strategy implementation. ・Responding to inquiries from stores and managing operations related to promotional campaigns and event management. Work Environment Business Enablement Group: 28 people (3 managers, 25 members) Mandatory Qualifications: ・3+ years of practical experience in areas such as sales support, sales planning, or sales promotion, with a proven track record of proactively driving initiatives while involving multiple stakeholders. ・Experience in back-office operations (onboarding procedures, various applications, meeting management, scheduling, etc.), with the ability to execute multiple tasks accurately and swiftly while managing priorities and progress. ・Experience in data organization and KPI management using Excel (functions, Pivot tables, etc.), and the ability to autonomously create reports and meeting materials for management using PowerPoint. ・Experience in supporting organizational operations in fast-paced environments (such as sales or store operations organizations) by proactively identifying issues, proposing improvements, and executing them. Desired Qualifications: ・Experience in data analysis using SQL, Python, or BI tools (Tableau, etc.), and a track record of driving operational improvements based on analytical results. ・Experience in leading initiatives from visualizing operational issues to improving and optimizing workflows.
