Position Summary

  • Developer Experience team is on a mission to build an enterprise software deployment platform, CVS Application Platform (CAP), that will transform how developers deploy applications at scale for CVS Digital application teams. We are a team of engineers and engineering leader's laser-focused on delivering exceptional self-service experiences to our developers who are writing critical guest-facing digital applications to help people on their path to better health. you will be working with a team of experienced engineers to design, code, test, and debug software applications that power critical experiences for both internal and external customers using CAP. What We Expect of You

  • Self-starter who can see the big picture and prioritize their work to make the largest impact on the business and customers vision and requirements.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to define, design, and implement software features and functionality.
  • A commitment and drive for quality, technical excellence, and results. We like pushing code to production!
  • Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as necessary to deliver high value work for the organization.
  • Be a daily advocate for and implement security best practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotations providing exceptional service to our customers.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience exhibiting deep expertise in one or more programing languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, React.
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle including ideation, coding, coding standards, testing, code reviews and production deployments.
  • 3+ years of experience with modern software development practices like CI/CD and collaborative coding tools like GitHub, GitLab, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Have a strong desire to see others succeed by mentoring and coaching other engineers through pair programing.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change requirements.
  • Strong understanding of observability and using telemetry to inform decision making.
  • Experience working in a Scrum/Agile development methodology.
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team. EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited University or equivalent work experience

Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $92,700.00 - $203,940.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
