Position: Business Development Manager Immediate Supervisor: Head of Commercial Job Summary:

  • Responsible for B2B services-oriented and solution selling to achieve revenue growth in allocated industry sectors for new and existing customers.
  • Manages all strategic aspects of the customer relationship with IRM commercially, including new sales, contract negotiations, pricing and proposals.
  • Liaise with other Managers/Sections in execution of major pipelines.
  • Responsible for developing excellent relationships with customers. Job Responsibilities:
  • Develops strategies and executes the necessary activities to win New Business from new accounts in allocated industry sectors, including exploring with channel partners.
  • Drive business growth in all lines of business, including offerings of information management services and digital solutions, with a transformation pitch, to develop compelling solutions with the supporting teams.
  • Develops Account Planning strategies for your top customers and manages excellence in account management for key accounts by identifying initiatives and delivering business values.
  • Meet regularly with customers to promote IRM services in the existing customer database and provides customers regular updates on our market differentiators and continuous improvement.
  • Strategically manages key customers’ renewal processes and pricing by implementing customer retention strategies with customer success team.
  • Collaborate with global/regional team on execution of company’s strategies
  • Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing and proposal on all prospects submitted for pricing and approval.
  • Plans, develops and ensures that KPIs and business targets are met, using salesforce.com as a central repository for all data updates, provides reporting requirements at timely basis.
  • Be good team players to collaborate with the sales team and extended teams in meeting the overall KPIs. Requirements:
  • Degree holder in any disciplines.
  • A track record of high performance in enterprise selling roles with over 3 years’ experience, on services-oriented selling and solution selling is preferable.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise customers and market dynamics and requirements, process good selling and growth skills especially on selling services and solutions for the transformation initiatives.
  • Account management experience, particularly in a high-sales performance management environment.
  • Possess strong personal presence with good networking, influencing and communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and verbal/written communications skills, strong organization, multi-tasking and time-management proficiency.
