 Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications. environment, an agentic-AI–enabled finance organization, and a redefined Global Finance Business Services (GBS) center into one coherent, scalable platform for a standalone public company. The leader translates SpinCo’s strategy into how finance actually runs at the transactional level: standardized global processes, a clean and AI-ready data model, automated end-to-end value streams, and a GBS delivery model built on end-to-end value streams and capability-as-a-service. This is a rare blend of C-suite strategic vision and deep operational fluency — someone equally comfortable framing a board narrative on the target operating model and working in the mechanics of Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash. The role demands exceptional agility to deploy systems and new processes on an aggressive spin timeline while designing for the future finance function. Finance Operating Model & Strategy

• Own the design and execution of SpinCo’s future-state finance operating model spanning process, people, systems, data, and GBS delivery.
• Define what “best-in-class” transactional finance looks like for a standalone public company and build the roadmap to get there.
• Partner with the SVP Corporate Finance, FP&A, Controllership, Treasury, Tax, and IT to align technology investments with corporate finance objectives.

Environment & Global Standard Processes

• Serve as the finance business sponsor for the new SAP (S/4HANA) environment, driving the transition off legacy ERPs (Baan, Infor LN) toward a rationalized, TSA-free target state.
• Lead and coordinate the Global Process Owner (GPO) / Business Process Owner (BPO) framework across RTR, PTP, OTC, Supply Chain, and I2R to standardize global processes and own irreversible design decisions.
• Champion the Global Chart of Accounts and multi-dimensional data model — a reduced, clean, AI ready GL that enables advanced analytics and faster close without ad hoc account proliferation.
• Ensure ERP design integrates cleanly with OneStream for consolidation, reporting, and drill-down. GBS Redefinition & Agentic-AI Finance
• Redefine the Global Finance Business Services center around end-to-end value streams and capability-as-a-service, moving beyond the legacy vertical/tower model.
• Build the business case and target headcount/cost model for a leaner, higher-value GBS finance function. System & Process Deployment (Agility)
• Drive rapid, wave-based ERP and process cutovers with disciplined UAT, mock closes, and Day 1 readiness on the spin timeline.
• Balance “clone-and-carve” pragmatism for Day 1 with target-operating-model design for Day 2, managing execution risk across a high volume of parallel workstreams.
• Establish deployment playbooks, cutover governance, and success metrics that can be repeated across sites and legal-entity waves.
• Design the agentic-AI view of the finance organization — embedding AI agents, workflow automation, and predictive analytics into O2C, P2P, and R2R to reduce manual effort and reshape roles.
• Establish the GBS service catalog, SLAs, KPIs, and governance/escalation model that will underpin steady-state delivery and TSA exit Data Governance, Controls & Compliance
• Establish governance for finance master data, reporting hierarchies, and dimensions to ensure integrity, consistency, and auditability.
• Embed SOX-ready controls, segregation of duties, and workflow controls into new SAP and GBS processes from the outset. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
• Manage relationships with implementation partners and advisors (e.g., Accenture, EY-Parthenon) and hold them accountable to design and timeline.
• Lead and develop a high-performing transformation and GBS finance team; foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Deliver board- and executive-ready narratives on the finance operating model, transformation progress, risks, and value capture. What we’re looking to add to our team:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive finance experience spanning both strategic finance/FP&A and transactional finance operations (RTR, PTP, OTC).
• Proven leadership of large-scale ERP transformations — ideally SAP S/4HANA — including global process standardization and chart-of-accounts design.
• Demonstrated experience building or running a Global Business Services / shared services finance organization.
• Strong track record deploying systems and new processes on aggressive timelines, with excellent executive communication. Preferred
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience with spin-offs, carve-outs, or major separations, including TSA design and exit.
• Hands-on understanding of AI / agentic automation applied to finance processes and analytics.
