Location: Santa Maria, CA / Part-time Position / Workdays: Monday
- Friday / Hours: Will Vary / Hourly Rate: $24.00 Are you organized, detail-focused, and great at keeping things on track? BEACON is looking for a part-time Safety Administrative Assistant to provide the behind-the-scenes support that helps keep our employees and workplaces safe. In this role, you will:
- Coordinate safety training and track completion.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and compliance documents.
- Monitor certifications, renewals, inspections, and deadlines.
- Track follow-up items from inspections and incident reviews.
- Assist with incident and injury-reporting documentation.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, meeting agendas, and minutes.
- Coordinate BEACON’s Safety Incentive Program and Safety Committee. You may be a great fit if you:
- Have at least one year of administrative experience.
- Are skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Notice the details others might miss.
- Can manage multiple priorities and follow through.
- Communicate professionally and handle confidential information responsibly.
- Enjoy creating order, improving processes, and supporting a team. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience supporting safety, compliance, or human resources is preferred.
