Job Description: Key Result Areas:
- Inspect incoming materials against drawings, specifications, and purchase requirements.
- Verify supplier documentation, COA's, test reports, and compliance certificates.
- Manage incoming quality issues and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers.
- Raise and track NCRs/SCARs and support material disposition activities.
- Maintain inspection records, traceability, and quality documentation.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and incoming defect trends.
- Support audits, calibration control, Lean/5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with Procurement, Stores, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.
- Ensure compliance with IMS (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) requirements and applicable standards.
- Engineering drawings and GD&T interpretation. Qualification: BE Mechanical Experience: Minimum 4-6 Yrs. in Quality Assurance Competencies: Knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, and Root Cause Analysis. Hands-on experience with measuring instruments. ERP/SAP and MS Excel proficiency. Knowledge of PPAP Knowledge of ASME, CE/PED, NSF / WQA etc. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. The position involves working in 3 shifts.
