IT & Data Solution Architect (P2P)

Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end solution architecture for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Source-to-Pay (S2P) platforms, ensuring scalable and sustainable solutions. Design and govern architecture across Coupa, SAP MM, SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA ecosystems. Define enterprise integration strategies and ensure seamless connectivity between SAP ERP, procurement platforms, finance systems, analytics platforms, and external applications. Architect and oversee API, Web Services, MuleSoft, IDoc, and middleware-based integrations across the P2P landscape. Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to align solution designs with enterprise architecture standards and technology roadmaps. Evaluate technical feasibility, solution alternatives, and technology choices to support business objectives. Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development, implementation, and support teams throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure architectural integrity across procurement, sourcing, category management, supplier management, invoicing, and payment processes. Drive cross-functional collaboration between business stakeholders, procurement teams, finance teams, IT teams, and external vendors. Define and govern data flows, interface mappings, integration patterns, and system dependencies across connected platforms. Oversee solution quality, system performance, data integrity, security, and compliance within the P2P ecosystem. Review and approve technical designs, architecture documentation, and solution blueprints. Lead stakeholder discussions to gather requirements and translate business needs into robust technical solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform efficiency, process automation, and operational effectiveness. Identify technical risks, integration challenges, and performance bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies. Support Agile delivery teams by providing architectural governance and ensuring alignment with business and technology objectives. Partner with global teams and vendors to deliver enterprise-scale procurement and finance transformation initiatives. Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, technical standards, and solution governance artifacts. and SAP S/4HANA environments. Hands-on experience designing enterprise integration architectures. Strong understanding of API-based integrations, Web Services, and middleware solutions. Experience working with MuleSoft, IDocs, Solace, and SAP integration frameworks. Expertise integrating Coupa, SAP ERP, Finance Systems, Analytics Platforms, and External Applications. Knowledge of data flows, interface mapping, and system integration patterns. Experience creating scalable solution architectures and technical blueprints. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and governance frameworks. Experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Finance, Accounts Payable, and Vendor Management processes. Ability to drive technical design reviews, architecture governance, and solution quality assurance. Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments. Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience leading global teams and working with European stakeholders (CET overlap). Ability to provide technical leadership across implementation, deployment, and support lifecycles. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement mindset.
