- Weekend Needs: As Scheduled Recruiter: Naomi Kpesse Job Description: The Lead Radiation Therapist is a role model in demonstrating outstanding clinical assessment, interpretive and treatment delivery skills; and shares these skills with others to ensure the competency of the team and optimal patient outcomes. The Lead Radiation Therapist is responsible for facilitating essential communication to the Regional Oncology Services Director and Radiation Oncology Manager and is accountable to the Physicist and Physician regarding clinical issues. This position does provide direct patient care. Experience/Skills Required : Graduate to an accredited program in radiation therapy. Registration and licensure as required. Experience in radiation therapy, treatment and supervision. Possesses good oral and written communication skills. Demonstrates interpersonal relationships in a manner that enhances communication, promotes conflict resolutions and facilitates staff development. Skills & knowledge to sustain and evaluate clinical completion in caring for specific age and type of patient population served.
