Research Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Research Engineer based in Canada. Join a remote, globally distributed Applied ML team focused on building AI systems that can continuously adapt to real-world signals. You’ll work at the intersection of applied research, machine learning, data strategy, and production engineering. The role centers on developing efficient pipelines that turn production data and interactions into model retraining and fine-tuning opportunities. You’ll have substantial ownership over the design and implementation of adaptive ML systems and data products. Working closely with the founding team, you’ll contribute to both technical research direction and product vision. This is a hands-on environment where novel technical challenges, experimentation, and rapid execution are encouraged. Your work will directly contribute to creating more flexible, personalized, and continuously evolving AI systems.
