SUMMARY As a Nurse Practitioner with Rochester General Pediatric Associates (RGPA), you will provide comprehensive pediatric care in a well-established outpatient practice dedicated to caring for children and families throughout the Rochester community. RGPA is a teaching practice known for its highly collaborative culture.   • Prior pediatric experience preferred RESPONSIBILITIES Patient Care. Assess, diagnose, and manage pediatric patients across a variety of clinical settings, including well-child visits, acute illness evaluations, preventive care, and chronic disease management. Develop treatment plans and provide education to patients and families. Collaboration. Work closely with pediatric physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care. Participate in a supportive practice model that emphasizes teamwork and shared clinical decision-making. Education & Development. Contribute to and benefit from the practice's teaching environment, engaging in continuous learning, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities. Documentation. Maintain complete and accurate medical record documentation, orders, treatment plans, and patient communications in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards. Quality & Service. Promote outstanding patient and family experiences while supporting quality initiatives, clinical best practices, and the overall health and well-being of the pediatric population served by the practice.   • Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20–50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14621 The posted pay range is a good faith representation of potential base pay for this position. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates could vary based on position details and FTE. Pay is determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, locations, and contracts.
