Job Description: L2 – Juniper & Palo Alto Network Security Engineer

- Employment Type: Full-Time Role OverviewWe are seeking an L2 Network Security Engineer with mandatory, hands-on expertise in Juniper and Palo Alto Firewalls . You will manage enterprise security operations, protect our network perimeter, and handle DDoS mitigation and threat response. Mandatory Technical Skills
- Firewalls (Mandatory): Extensive operational expertise in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Juniper (SRX/Junos) and Palo Alto (PAN-OS) firewalls (policy management, NAT, VPN, threat prevention).
- Threat & Attack Mitigation: Experience managing IPS and executing DDoS mitigation strategies.
- Cloud Security / CDN: Operational knowledge of Akamai security solutions (Kona Site Defender, App & API Protector, or Prolexic) is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities
- Firewall Administration: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Juniper and Palo Alto firewalls to ensure secure data transit.
- DDoS & Web Security: Monitor traffic anomalies and manage mitigation policies.
- Incident Response: Act as a primary responder for security alerts, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and execute containment.
- Change Management: Handle firewall rule changes, audits, and maintain network security documentation. Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Experience: 4 to 6 years in network security operations and firewall management.
- Preferred Certifications: JNCIS-SEC, PCNSE, or CCNA Security.
