Associate Researcher is an entry level role for individuals who are competent in basic science and math and are inspired to apply those skills towards hands-on experiments. At P&G, a wide variety of R&D work is available to Associate Researchers, in the following major areas: -Products Research: Deeply understand our consumers and their needs to inform product design parameters for new or improved products. -Product Formulation & Design: Translates consumer needs into finished products that delight consumers using the best available technologies/chemicals/materials. -Analytical: Use lab equipment to solve tough technical problems via chemical, physical, mechanical, imaging, and other measurement capabilities. -Packaging & Device Development: Creates and improves packages and devices that delight consumers and retailers. -Process Development & Pilot Plant Operations: Translates ideas, concepts, and technologies into commercially feasible chemical and mechanical processes and scales them up from lab to pilot plant to manufacturing. Technical Stand 5, (TS5) is the heart of Functional Fibers innovation. It's a dynamic pilot plant environment where new ideas become reality. Here, we bridge the gap between scientific discovery and scaled production, meticulously testing new hypotheses, evaluating novel materials, and refining processes to develop both breakthrough and next-generation technologies. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically curious Associate Researcher to be a critical hands-on contributor within our Functional Fibers Pilot Plant (TS5). In this role, you will execute the core experimental and operational work that fuels our innovation pipeline and directly contributes to our strategic objectives. Your work will be integral to two key areas: -Direct-to-Consumer Product Development: You will contribute to the production of innovative Functional Fibers-based materials and products for direct consumer evaluation and market testing.

• Foundational R&D & Process Breakthroughs: You will play a crucial role in developing scientific understanding, evaluating new materials, and refining processes that define our next-generation and breakthrough Functional Fibers technologies. Key Responsibilities:
• Pilot Plant Operations & Execution: Independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot complex pilot plant processes (TS5) to produce Functional Fibers and related materials. This includes material preparation, process monitoring, quality checks, and equipment maintenance.
• Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, organize, and input high-quality data from production runs and experiments. Perform initial data analysis to identify trends, deviations, and insights that inform subsequent research and development.
• Quality Assurance & Safety Stewardship: Consistently adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), stringent Quality Assurance (QA) standards, and all P&G Safety guidelines. Proactively identify and address potential safety hazards or quality concerns.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Actively participate in a diverse, global team of scientists, engineers, and technicians. Clearly communicate observations, data, and recommendations to multiple stakeholders, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and problem-solving.
• Digital System Utilization: Efficiently utilize P&G's digital systems, including Nexus Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN), CISPRO, Veeva, Enovia, and Portal, for data recording, material tracking, and information management. (Comprehensive training will be provided for all systems). Job Qualifications Required Qualifications:
• Education Requirement: Associate degree in a scientific or related field or a High School diploma with relevant experience and interests. Candidates with 2-year or 4-year degrees in non-engineering disciplines are welcome to apply.
• Technical Skills: Basic Mechanical Aptitude, Basic computer skills, Safety Mindset, Ability to lift 45lbs, Record keeping, observational skills.
