Prefr (operated by CreditVidya) is a digital-first lending platform that makes credit accessible to millions across India. with loan offerings ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹5 Lakh, we’re enabling instant personal loans and flexible pay-later credit lines, especially for first-time borrowers and underserved regions. backed by RBI-approved NBFC partnerships, we’ve built a platform that uses selfie-based KYC, minimal documentation, and AI-powered underwriting to disburse loans within minutes. we are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the accounting, payments, and treasury functions for a fast-growing Fintech company and will lead the AP team, ensuring timely and accurate payments of company liabilities, optimizing the AP process, and working closely with vendors, procurement, and internal stakeholders. the Finance Manager will ensure compliance with statutory requirements (TDS, GST, MSME Act, Companies Act) and optimize cash flow management while driving financial process improvements and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. What will you do? oversee daily accounting operations, including managing the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing ensure timely and accurate processing of payments (vendor payments, taxes) and adherence to internal control standards establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring effective dispute resolution and favorable terms manage treasury functions, including cash flow management, forecasting, and working capital optimization ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including TDS, GST, MSME Act, and Companies Act, and coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets prepare and publish AP-related reports (e.g., cash flow forecasting, aging analysis) collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product team, sales team, collection team, Admin team) to ensure financial alignment with business operations prepare, analyze, and present financial reports to senior management, including cash flow projections and variance analysis lead initiatives to improve financial systems and processes, leveraging automation tools. Optimize the AP workflow through automation, process improvements, and implementation of best practices monitor and manage banking relationships manage vendor onboarding and master vendor data maintenance, ensuring data accuracy manage and mentor a team of AP specialists, providing training and performance feedback You should apply if you are/have: Chartered Accountant with 4-7 years of experience deep understanding of Indian statutory regulations (TDS, GST, MSME Act, Companies Act) proven track record of process improvement and automation in AP strong knowledge of treasury management, cash flow forecasting, and working capital optimization experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and managing audits good communication and interpersonal skills to articulate and collaborate across departments
