Vinyl Technician

Are you creative, detail-oriented, and someone who genuinely enjoys hands-on projects? If you’re the person who loves working with a Cricut, creating decals, crafting, or doing projects that require patience and attention to detail, you may be a great fit for our Vinyl Technician position. Onsite Sign Group is looking for an addition to our production team in our Lloydminster facility. This is a hands-on position working in our vinyl department, helping prepare graphics and materials for signs, vehicles, windows, and other projects. What You’ll Be Doing Working alongside our experienced production team, you’ll assist with:

• Cutting and preparing vinyl graphics
• Weeding vinyl lettering, logos, and detailed graphics
• Applying transfer tape and preparing graphics for installation
• Cleaning and preparing substrates and sign surfaces
• Organizing vinyl, tools, materials, and completed graphics
• Assisting with basic vinyl application
• Preparing materials for our production and installation teams
• Checking finished graphics for quality and accuracy
• Keeping the vinyl room clean, organized, and running efficiently
• Learning additional sign production techniques as your skills develop Who Would Be Great at This? You do not necessarily need previous sign-industry experience . We’re willing to train the right person. This could be an excellent fit if you:
• Enjoy Cricut, vinyl, crafting, scrapbooking, or other detailed creative work
• Like working with your hands
• Have a strong eye for detail
• Are patient and comfortable working with small or intricate pieces
• Take pride in clean, accurate work
• Are organized and able to follow instructions
• Enjoy seeing a project go from an idea to a finished product
• Work well independently and as part of a production team Experience with vinyl graphics, sign production, large-format printing, Adobe Illustrator, or similar work is an asset, but not required .
